Hotel Review
A few years ago, we stayed at the Sailport Waterfront Suites in Tampa, Florida. The hotel is located off W. Courtney Campbell Causeway on North Rocky Point Drive. It’s a waterfront hotel, with great views of Tampa Bay! The decor was a little dated but the balcony and views of the Bay made up for that.

The cost was reasonable for the room with a kitchenette and a balcony. We paid less than $100/night, it might be a little more now. The bedroom was good and the bed reasonably comfortable. It had a bath with a shower/tub combo. The kitchen had everything you need.
When renting a place on vacation, we look at the whole picture. We like to have something comfortable with everything we need. We like the option to “cook in” to save on food costs. What we like the most is probably, location, location, location. This is a great location! It’s easy to get anywhere in Tampa and surrounding areas. A place on the water is usually a must for us! This place is on Tampa Bay and has great views! There is no beach, but it has an outdoor pool. There are areas to sit on the sand, and grills to cook out.
We enjoyed staying at the Sailport Waterfront Suites! I recommend it to anyone on a budget that wants a comfortable place to stay with awesome views of Tampa Bay. It’s a great place to relax on your balcony or take a dip in the pool.
