SeaWorld at Christmas

Orlando, Florida

We visited SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida a few years back at Christmas time. Actually, the tickets were a gift from my son and daughter-in-law. It was a beautiful day, temps in the upper 70’s. Being an animal lover, I had always wanted to go to SeaWorld. We arrived early to avoid the heavy crowds(Christmas is a busy time of year in Orlando FL). They have a huge parking lot but we were lucky to be pretty close to the entrance. The Park was decorated for Christmas with a huge Christmas tree at the entrance, decorated Christmas trees throughout the park, and the “sea of trees”, which are lighted trees floating on the lake.

SeaWorld has a lot of fun things to see and do especially at Christmas time!

We loved the Dolphins!
Awesome Killer Whales!

The One Ocean program with the killer whales was amazing! We also saw the Dolphin Days show. Dolphins have always been one of my favorites, I am always trying to spot them when we are by the ocean. We never got to see the Penguins in the Antarctica area, I was sad about that but there’s always next time. There was so much to see and do that we couldn’t see it all in one day! I think you need 2 days to really enjoy everything. We will definitely have to go back! It’s a good idea to have a “plan of action” so you can see everything. The Park is large and really beautiful with the walkways around the lake. At Christmas, they have the “Sea of Trees” with lighted trees floating on the lake.

  1. Thanks for sharing this information. The Sea Of Trees sounds really cool. Sea World often gets a lot of bad representation so I’m glad you shared this information. It’s nice to know all they do to support the marine animals and protect the environment.
